1991-2000
Living in Colorado, I began doing a lot more sculpture. I still painted and sculpted friends, dancers and musicians, continuing to use different media for the same subject matter—doing a few woodcuts in color and in black and white. I experimented with different media—chicken wire, papier mâché, twine—in large formats, a bit larger than life size, like my Trudy series.
I visited China and painted a woman I saw there. I also did my first outdoor installations at my house in Colorado, based in chicken wire and finished in stucco.
